My Shop Assist includes a powerful suite of reports designed to help you understand how your shop is operating, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Here’s a breakdown of each report and what it can do for you:

Details

Overview Report

Quickly see each employee’s task time versus their time clock hours to calculate individual and shop-wide efficiency. This report is perfect for gauging how productive your team really is on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Task Report

Analyze how often specific tasks are performed and the average time it takes to complete them. You can drill down into each entry to see how the averages are calculated—great for identifying training needs or optimizing processes.

Part Sales Report

Track all parts sold, calculate total profit, and even view the value of parts currently tied up in in-progress jobs. It’s a great tool for managing inventory, vendor relationships, and profitability.

Vehicle Report

Easily view which vehicles are currently onsite and which ones are actively in progress. Helps streamline scheduling, floor space management, and job prioritization.

Payment Report

See a complete list of all payments received across all jobs. Whether it’s deposits, partial payments, or balances, this report gives you full visibility into your revenue streams.

Transaction Report

Dive deep into credit card transactions—especially useful when a payment fails or something doesn’t look right. Use this report to troubleshoot issues and ensure every transaction is accounted for.

Jobs Report

A powerful report that breaks down all work performed within a selected date range. Includes parts sold, labor time, and payments received—viewable in two formats:

  • Work Performed (Hourly): Shows all time entries, regardless of completion status
  • Tasks Completed: Only includes tasks marked as completed

Completed Jobs Report

Lists every job marked as completed within a given timeframe. It also displays the total hours worked on each job and provides a cumulative total—ideal for evaluating shop throughput and project timelines.

Employee Service Report

Track individual employee performance with this detailed report showing:

  • Hours tracked on tasks
  • Estimated hours completed
  • Book time (if used)
    You can filter by employee and date range, and choose between work performed or tasks completed. A must-have for evaluating technician efficiency and identifying areas for growth.

Time Clock Report

View clock-in/clock-out times for each employee to understand shift length and attendance. Paired with the Employee Service Report, it provides a complete picture of efficiency.

Export Report

Keep your QuickBooks integration on track. This report shows every export attempt, including successful syncs and any errors that occurred. If something doesn’t make it into QuickBooks, this is where you’ll find the fix.
